The Technology Group and Human Resources Services are internal functions providing global operations and business supports across Brookfield Asset Management business segments.

Position Summary
As a member of the HR Service Desk (HRSD), the Senior Analyst will primarily be responsible for leading the efforts with the resolution of benefits and payroll related inquiries via phone, email and desktop support.  Partners with Payroll, Benefits and HR teams to serve as the technical point of contact for the Workday system and corresponding work streams.
Responsibilities
  • Works collaboratively with the HR Service Desk team to provide Workday system support including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HR and employee system problems; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements; document process issues, fixes and results.
  • Serve as first level support for HR staff and employees with data and system related issues; if escalation is required work with Human Resources Services (HRS) functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Act as administrator for ancillary and legacy systems.
  • Executes and runs existing structured and ad hoc reports for HRS and HR teams; evaluates outputs for sensibility and overall correctness and mitigates as required.
  • Effectively works with team and peers by leveraging differences in objectives and responsibilities
  • Educates oneself on peers’ processes and directives
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the team and the goals we’re collectively seeking to accomplish while aligning priorities to larger organizational goals.

  • HR, payroll, benefits and timekeeping expertise; proven complex multi-company benefits and payroll administration
  • System / database troubleshooting, utilization and detail orientation to data integrity
  • Excel spreadsheet skills including formulas, pivot tables and analysis
  • HRIS system experience; Workday
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Prior experience on a shared services team preferred
