The Technology Group and Human Resources Support Services are internal functions providing global operations and business supports across Brookfield Asset Management business segments.
 
Position Summary
The PMO Analyst will be reporting directly into the Manager – Technology Services and will be responsible for assisting in the administering and organizing the efficient operations of PMO Governance.  This role requires a detailed-oriented individual with a passion for process improvement, proficient with database and tool capabilities, strong written and communication skills as well as excellent team-building skills that drives business results. This role interfaces regularly with a broad range of executives and stakeholders across the organization.
 
Responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of Project Management Methodology, processes and tools, preferably in IT.
  • Maintains the PMO toolset, including master project tracker on Sharepoint.
  • Administers documentation approval process between various stake holders across the organization – end to end.
  • Manages a repository of project management templates.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, awareness and training to Project Managers on the use of tools and templates.
  • SME on internal process mapping tool (Appian).
  • Provide functional support across end users.
  • Conducts project financial reviews with PMs. 
  • Liaison between PMO and Finance.
  • Generates resource utilization reports for Finance and PMO.
  • Collaborate with Finance to lead monthly balance sheet reconciliation on Project Financials.  Generate dashboards and status reports to internal stakeholders when required.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education, minimum University Degree or College Diploma in Technology/Accounting.
  • PMI/PMP certification would be an asset.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in the field of project management with the leading IT/ITES companies performing Business Analyst/PMO Analyst duties.
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 2-3 years demonstrated experience in project forecasting, project budgeting, and full-cycle project planning.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge/Experience in business process management software & collaboration tools
  • Six Sigma an asset.
