Position Summary
The Senior Financial Analyst will be reporting directly into Director, Financial Reporting & Analytics. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for guiding the clients and the service groups and providing them with the different Financial data they require.


Responsibilities
  • Preparing timely and accurate management reporting. 
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and presentations to improve budgeting, forecasting and analysis
  • Liaising with business units to develop and manage a series of reports to convey KPIs, financial and non-financial data
  • Analyzing key performance indicators and tracking trends to support management and business units with the objective to improve financial performance by reporting insightful findings on a timely basis to help with decision making
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements/ enhancements
  • Automating reports and processes and assist management to accurately interpret information
  • Developing scorecards and dashboards
  • Other financial analysis and projects as assigned.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting or Finance
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA or CMA)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial reporting in a Finance or Accounting function
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations/processes
  • Strong problem solving acumen and solution oriented;
  • Experience with data modeling and process improvement
  • Experience with shared service model
  • Experience with process implementation and documentation
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Client-service orientation supporting all levels of employees and executive management
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment with conflicting deadlines and changing priorities
  • Results driven and deadline oriented
  • IT industry experience is an asset
